Planning a trek in Nepal? Permits are the one cost you can pin down before you land. They’re also the one most blogs get wrong. This calculator uses fees taken straight from the Nepal Tourism Board, the Department of Immigration, NTNC and the Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality. It covers national park and conservation area entry, the TIMS card, the Everest Trek Card, and the per-week restricted-area permits for Manaslu, Tsum, Nar-Phu and Upper Mustang, including peak-season rates. Since 2023, most popular routes require a licensed guide, so the calculator flags that too. Pick your trek, add the daily prices your agency or teahouses quote you, and you’ll get a total you can budget around. Every fee links to its official source. Bloggers and agencies are welcome to link to or cite this page.
Pick your trek, nationality and dates to see the official permit fees. Then add your own daily budget to estimate the total. Permit fees were checked against official Nepal government and NTNC pages on 22 October 2026 (sources below). Fees change, so confirm before you travel.
We don’t show “typical” daily prices because no official source publishes them. Enter what your agency or teahouses quote you, per person per day.
